This mission is accomplished by working with raceway staff and being available to race fans to address their needs.”

Central Virginia Raceway Ministries is proud to be a part of the Richmond Raceway (RR) experience for more than 15 years. As Guest Ambassadors of RR, we believe in our service during the races is a vital part of showing God’s love and sharing the Good News of Jesus Christ to fans.

Central Virginia Raceway Ministries Needs Volunteers and Cookies

       
Central Virginia Raceway Ministries (CVRM) is gearing up for race weekend:

Saturday, August 10 and 11, 2024 

 

CVRM has a unique opportunity for evangelism this year as Easter weekend is a race weekend. We are prayerful that people will be even more receptive to the Gospel during festivities and the free Easter service open to the public at the Raceway's amphitheater.


Please consider assisting the Raceway Ministry for the following needs:

  •  Set-up and transport of tables and chairs

  •  Distributing beverages and refreshments

  •  Maintaining tables with literature for visitors

  •  Handing out flyers for the worship events

  •  Guide the fans around the track.

  •  Assist with games & refreshments at our Kids Corner locations.

  •  Donate homemade cookies! Place 2-3 cookies per bag with a label including if they are nut-free and “compliments of [your church].” 

The current schedule for the event needs are as follows:

  • August 8- Thursday: SET-UP Main Hospitality Site & Hospitality Site in F lot. 1 Shift: Noon-3 pm

  • August 10- Saturday: Kids CORNER and Hospitality Ministry for the NASCAR Truck RACE: HELP needed from 9am – 7:30pm

  • August 11- Sunday: Kids CORNER and Hospitality for the NASCAR Toyota RACE: HELP needed from 10am - 7:00 pm

In addition, RCFN is collecting homemade cookies! Place 2-3 cookies per bag with a label including if they are nut-free and “compliments of [your church].” Cookies may be brought to the RCFN Office, 2828 Emerywood Pkwy Richmond, VA on August 5-7, from 9 a.m. -3 p.m.
